A trip to Haiti has inspired a gallery & book store offering fair trade art & coffee, live music on occasion & the opportunity to simply enjoy life with others in an interesting neighborhood in Historic Northeast Kansas City. Artwork, jewelry & other items are on display from Brasil, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti & North America, including Mexico!

Hey Sarah-- Such a pleasure to see Mona's paintings on your site. I own a couple of his pieces myself. His works all vibrate with life and energy. Just like him! Every time I see him at Gwo Jan he's working on his art or his music. No doubt, he's thrilled to know that his works are also there at Kafe Kiskeya. Sorry I'll miss the Extravaganza. It does sound fascinating. Thanks for all you do to bring Ayiti to KC!
